Banana Bars

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×15 roll pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Continue to mix while adding eggs. After fully incorporated, add banana and vanilla.
  4. Sift flour, salt, and baking soda into a large bowl before slowly adding to liquid mixture. Lastly, add buttermilk.
  5. Spread evenly into pan and bake 30 minutes. Allow to cool before handling.

Cut into bars and top with vanilla buttercream frosting
