Banana Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×15 roll pan.
- Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Continue to mix while adding eggs. After fully incorporated, add banana and vanilla.
- Sift flour, salt, and baking soda into a large bowl before slowly adding to liquid mixture. Lastly, add buttermilk.
- Spread evenly into pan and bake 30 minutes. Allow to cool before handling.
Cut into bars and top with vanilla buttercream frosting
