Seared Salmon with Broccoli Florets

  • 1 1/2 pound Salmon fillets
  • 2 tsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Broccoli florets
  • Butter
  • Lemon wedges
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side down, and sear for about 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the seared salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  8. Season the broccoli with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the seared salmon alongside the sautéed broccoli florets.
  10. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges.
