Seared Salmon with Broccoli Florets
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound Salmon fillets
- 2 tsp Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups Broccoli florets
- Butter
- Lemon wedges
- Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side down, and sear for about 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the seared salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Season the broccoli with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve the seared salmon alongside the sautéed broccoli florets.
- Garnish with fresh lemon wedges.
