Korean Ground Beef

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • Sliced green onion and sesame for garnish
  • Pepper to taste
  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet.
  2. While beef is cooking, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper and ginger. Pour over the cooked ground beef.
  3. Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
