Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 or 4 Large Potatoes
- 1 Small Onion
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1/3 Cup Flour
- 5 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs
- Grease 2-quart casserole dish and preheat oven to 375°.
- Slice potatoes and onions thinly.
- Arrange potato slices evenly across the casserole dish with some overlapping and onnios occasional scattered throughout. Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper, and flour. Dot with butter.
- Repeat layers until dish is full or no slices remain.
- Pour milk over layers, making sure tops pf potatoes are barely covered. Sprinkle with more breadcrumbs and additional butter.
- Bake for 45 – 60 minutes.
